When I first googled "dying wedding dresses" Renegade was the first to show up. They say they are ranked number 1 in America for wedding dress dying. Through my experience with them, I find it hard to believe they are really ranked number one in America. My first meeting with Christine went really well. I wanted a black dress but after taking with her, she said that black comes out more grey. I didn't want that to happen so she showed me a black and dark green dress they had dyed before. it was perfect for the vibe of my wedding. I paid the 100 rush order and shipped my dress in March. My wedding wasn't until September. After shipping my dress, the communication can't to a hault. They said once they receive the dress, it would be a few days to get the patch test results. It was way longer than that before I reached out to the company and they just kept resending the same generic email.
I finally got my results and it was a pretty shade of green. I said I liked it, but, the darker the better. They said they would start working on it. (When I had my video meeting with Christine, she quoted me the month of July for my dress to be done if I paid the 100$ rush fee) I didn't hear from the company again until I had to keep resending the same email, asking about my dress! Finally, I received information on my dress, but it was already almost August. Come to find out they didn't start working on my dress until then. The color of my dress when I saw it was NOT the color I saw in my patch test. I am guessing they didn't have enough time to dip it in the dye a second time.
I wasn't happy with my dress but there wasn't much I could do about it with the timeline I had left before my big day.
they shipped my dress wet and shoved in a box. it smelled moldy when I opened it. The back clip above the zipper was missing, as well.
I understand they had more than just me as a client but if they overbooked themselves and that isn't my fault.
I did receive many compliments on my dress the day of my wedding but it did not come out the color Christine showed me in our first video or the swatch test.
I would not recommend nor would I use this company again.
