Many factors influence pricing for dye projects. Your gown's silhouette, fabric type, number of colors required, and color selection are a few.
Using the two tools below, we encourage you to crunch the numbers, then schedule a free consult to discuss.
This tool is designed to provide a price estimate for dye projects. The amount will calculate automatically as you input the necessary variables. To confirm and place your order, please schedule a free consult. Your dye expert will explain our process, including proprietary testing to ensure confident collaboration on outside gowns.

This basic saturation testing aims to determine if all your (relevant) fabrics are capable of reaching your goal color. For multi-color projects, we will test with the most challenging pigment, for instance, purple for a tricolor "Peacock" ombre palette. This is a required step in our process, as it provides another step closer to proof of concept for setting your and our expectations. Swatch testing does not contractually obligate you to proceed with your full garment.
We always aim to complete tests within 2 weeks of receiving your garment/test fabric, even if you're not yet scheduled into the production queue (by prepaying for the full service). Better to get your proof of concept right away and empower you to keep event planning aesthetics rolling along!

Multiple Saturation Tests
Happy to accommodate; just purchase one test of this type for each color you'd like to have reported. For that example "Peacock" project, you could opt to purchase a total of three saturation tests for your aquamarine, blue, and purple.
Full Ombre Test
An additional, optional new offering tests how ombre projects' colors will blend on a similar fabric we provide. It won't be YOUR gown's satin, but it will be another poly satin, for example, which in conjunction with the saturation testing, provides a thorough visual aid before we proceed. We need a piece approximately 30" long and 8" wide; if you have a scrap that size, we'll absolutely use yours!
Note: A complimentary re-test is available if your goal color is reported as a "fail". We are very comfortable pivoting to a Plan B color that you'll love!

In many cases, we will provide a similar fabric to demonstrate your ombre. This differs from the regular swatch test, which is always from your exact garment. We accommodate the need for greater surface area with a close substitute. For this reason, this is supplemental and not a substitute for the standard dye test.
